Task Details

Clicking any task card opens a full detail panel. From here you can edit every field on the task — title, status, priority, description, attachments, assignees, and more — and link the task to projects and channels.

Title and Status

The title is inline-editable. Click the pencil icon to change it. Below the title, two dropdowns let you set the task's current status (Backlog, To Do, In Progress, Blocked, Done) and priority (Low, Medium, High, Urgent).

Description

The description field supports markdown formatting. Click to edit, then use the Save or Cancel buttons that appear. An empty description shows "No description".

Attachments

Drag and drop files onto the panel or click Add Files. Each file can be up to 10 MB. The attachment list shows a thumbnail or icon, filename, file size, uploader, and upload date. Image attachments get inline thumbnails and a full-screen preview.

Metadata

The metadata section displays the owner name, created-by name and date, and a due date picker with a popover calendar.

Assignees

A list of assigned users and specialists with avatars. Click Add Assignee to open a searchable picker where you can assign team members or specialists.

Link a task to a project to inherit its repository URLs, giving specialists code context. A project badge appears when linked, with an unlink button next to it. Click Link to Project to browse workspace projects.

Acceptance Criteria

A checklist for defining when a task is complete. Each criterion has a checkbox, a description, and a delete button. Completed criteria get strikethrough text. Click + to add a new criterion.

Channels

Link a task to chat channels for additional context. Click Link Channel to open a searchable channel picker.

Archive and Close

For new tasks, the footer shows Cancel and Create buttons. For existing tasks, it shows Archive Task (or Restore Task if the task is archived) and Close.
